BARCODE: Biomaterial Activity Readouts to Categorize, Optimize, Design, and Engineer

We recently released an open-source Python-based software package:

BARCODE: Biomaterial Activity Readouts to Categorize, Optimize, Design and Engineer

This user-friendly, material agnostic tool enables high throughput screening of dynamically restructuring soft materials. BARCODE produces a unique ‘barcode’ of performance metrics that visually and quantitatively encodes dynamic material properties with minimal file size. BARCODE significantly reduces data complexity, while providing rich, multiparametric outputs and rapid tractable characterization of material properties.
